  Meet Dorothea

Baltimore native Dorothea Howard (formerly McGuire), is an award winning television host, speaker, entrepreneur, and author. At the age of 26, she was diagnosed with Pulmonary Sarcoidosis. She took her diagnosis and channeled it into a passion to help others. Her motivation and high energy are well received by her audience and always delivered in a down to earth, positive, and inspirational style.

Dorothea founded McGuire Group, LLC a corporate event and educational training company with headquarters in the DC metropolitan area. As President and CEO of McGuire Group, LLC, she leads this global company to greater success with her indomitable will to make a difference to the professional clients and organizations she serves.

She has spoken to many audiences. This includes national and international speaking engagements. Her speaking engagements includes radio interviews on the Marc Clarke Radio Show, Philadelphia's WDAS 195.3 FM with Patty Jackson, television interviews on PGC TV and conferences. She has also been featured in various magazines and local newspaper articles. She has hosted and facilitated healthcare conferences, career fairs, workshops, networking socials, and retreats. Dorothea has partnered with prominent speakers Actor & Poet Devin T. Robinson X "Egypt" Author Stedman Graham, Jr., former WNBA player Fran Harris and former Washington Redskins (#41 Safety) Madieu Williams, just to name a few.

Dorothea is an accomplished author with one new book to her credit. She's remarried and have two beautiful successful daughters from her first marriage. In 2015 she became a first-time grandmother to a gorgeous baby girl! She's proud to say that in 2016 a new addition has been added to the family, a healthy handsome baby boy! Peace & blessings.
